  Of course the prices have gone up... as always, we are going to have to look between Carr's, 3 Bears, and Fred Meyer to find the best deals again! //grabs smelling salts// Fred's used to have the best prices. Is the interior beautiful, or are we used to the warehouse look inside grocery stores now? I'm not crazy about it, but I don't have to work there eight hours a day, either. There are a few things that I liked in a few things that I didn't, and I'm going to have to decide with time if it's an inconvenience with how the store is designed or if I'm just having to get used to something new.
  ♡♡ kudos to the management and especially to the employees for handling the transition of moving the store so well. From a customer standpoint, I saw no problems and it was refreshing to see the same employees as cashiers as they were last week.♡♡ I was hoping that they would have expanded their yarn department, but it's actually smaller than the FM in Wasilla, and their selection of needles and crochet hooks is pretty small. The yarn selection is Red Heart and Lion Brand. Some of the Lion Brand is beautiful. They just don't have a lot of it. ♡♡ I'm happy that Palmer finally has a store that sells clothing department store style-- this has to be refreshing for the people who come in from Sutton who now do not have to drive all the way to Wasilla or into Eagle River to get clothing. ♡♡ please, help us out and give us an alternative to plastic bags for fruits and vegetables and meat♡♡ Tourists will enjoy stopping here on their giant busses on their way out to Sutton and beyond.
